The problem
You connected Google Drive but can't import files, or you see errors when trying to use your Drive files in PostPlanify.
Why this happens
During sign-in, Google shows a permissions screen with a checkbox that you must tick. If it's left unchecked, PostPlanify can't access your files — so importing won't work and you'll run into errors later, even though the account looks connected.
The checkbox says: "See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files that you use with this app."
How to fix it
Reconnect Google Drive and make sure that checkbox is ticked:
1. Go to Settings and disconnect your Google Drive account.
2. Click "Connect Google Drive" again.
3. On the warning screen, click "I Understand, Continue".
4. Sign in with your Google account.
5. On Google's permissions screen, tick the box that says "See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files that you use with this app", then click Continue.
That's it — you'll now be able to browse and import your Drive files when creating a post.
Good to know
• This checkbox is required. Without it, the integration can't work — there's no way around it.
• It's safe. PostPlanify only accesses the specific files you choose to import, not your entire Drive.
• Reconnecting won't affect your existing posts.
Still stuck?
If you've ticked the checkbox and it still isn't working, disconnect and reconnect one more time to refresh the connection. If the problem continues, reach out to us and we'll help you sort it out.
