Your posting queue is a set of weekly time slots you define once, then reuse for every post you schedule. Instead of picking a date and time for each new post, you can drop posts into "the next queue slot" and PostPlanify will publish them in the times you've already chosen.
The queue is set per workspace and applies to every connected social account in that workspace.
Setting up your weekly posting times
1. Open the "Posting Queue" from your sidebar
2. Click Add posting time
3. Pick a time from the dropdown (30-minute intervals)
4. By default, all 7 days are selected — uncheck any day you don't want this slot to apply to
5. Repeat for as many slots as you'd like (for example, 9:00 AM Mon/Wed/Fri and 2:00 PM Tue/Thu)
6. Click "Save changes"
That's it. Your queue is now ready to use.
Adding a post to the queue
When you create a new post and open the Schedule dialog, you'll see a "Next Queue Slot" link near the top — for example, "Next Queue Slot: Tue, Apr 15 — 9:00 AM."
Click it to auto-fill the date and time using your next available slot. Confirm and the post is scheduled.
You can still pick a custom date and time if you want to override the queue for a specific post.
Things to know
- Queue times are shown in your user time zone (set in your profile). PostPlanify converts to each platform's native time zone automatically.
- Editing your queue schedule doesn't affect posts that are already scheduled — only future posts you queue from that point on.
- Only workspace owners and editors can edit queue settings. Other roles see the queue but can't change it.
- The queue applies across all platforms in the workspace; you can't set different slots per platform from the queue settings (use a manual schedule for that).
- If you don't have any queue slots set up, the Next Queue Slot link won't appear in the schedule dialog.
